Grants from the Government
Did you know that, as a citizen of the United States, you are automatically eligible to apply for Grants from the Government?
WHAT IS A GRANT?
A federal grant is an award of financial assistance from a federal agency to a recipient. It is important to know that a grant is not a loan and does not have to be paid back! Even better, government agencies are required by law to award grants each year.
Our U.S. Government makes money available for any number of reasons. For example, there are grants available to help you buy a car, pay your medical bills, purchase a home, start your own business and many, many more. Your personal credit history does not matter when you apply for a grant, even if you have had to declare bankruptcy in the past. U.S. Government grants are the closest thing to “free money” you are ever going to find.
HOW DO I FIND OUT MORE?
The government makes it very easy for anyone to research grants. Type a simple search string into your web browser; something like “US government grants” and see how many different websites are available to you, each with a lengthy list of grants.
